Lunchtime Legends is one of the largest corporate sports competition organisers in Sydney. The competition has been running for over 30 years and attracts more than 2,000 people every week.

By playing lunchtime sport you can;

  • Have fun and keep fit during your lunch hour
  • Socialise with colleagues from your workplace and others
  • Network with other companies in the area
  • Reduce Stress, blow off some steam

How it works;

  • Usually 8 weeks of round robin games (less depending on venue availability)
  • 2 weeks for semi-finals and finals
  • Games usually played between 11:45am and 2:15pm on week days – draw published in advance
  • Sunset Sessions are available in the City during Daylight Savings Time
  • 13 minute halves with 2 minute half time break
  • “Lunchtime Legend” prize is awarded to player nominated by the opposing team at completion of each season.

Costs;

Costs are usually based on a team entry, with no limit on the number of players. They vary by area and sport. Check the event calendar for costs in your area.

*A free Shuttle Bus Service is available to assist participants with transport to selected venues in some locations.

How to enter;

Enter online at Leagues (spawtz.com) and select a field and sport then follow the prompts to ‘register a team’.

Our policy on taking entries is FIRST PAID, FIRST IN. Once you register your team online, your spot is NOT confirmed until we receive payment from you. Fastest and best option is to pay online when you register your team. Credit card payments are only processed once a competition is filled or the week before the competition starts.

We do not hold any spots/reservations for upcoming competitions, we open registrations to everyone at the same time.

Uniforms are not compulsory however we do encourage teams to wear similar colour team shirts. Bibs are provided if required. NO football boots are allowed to be worn only joggers. Approved Tag League shorts must be worn and are available for purchase prior to the start of the competition.

All our sports are non-contact, but we do encourage participants to wear shin pads and mouth guards where appropriate to avoid injury.

Lunchtime Legends holds Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. Personal Insurance is usually covered by your employers work cover who should be notified of you participation in the Lunchtime Legends competition.
